Chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus) is an interesting member of the fungi family. Due to its blackish, irregularly-shaped mass, it bears a striking resemblance to burnt charcoal. Chaga mushroom grows mainly alder and birch tress , as well as a few other tree species. They can be found in England, Canada, North America and France as well as in parts of Germany and Norway.
