Eye Function

Lutein and zeaxanthin are dietary carotenoids found most abundantly in dark, leafy green vegetables. These carotenoids concentrate in the macula (pl. maculae) of the eye. The maculae are responsible for sharpness of vision. Lutein and zeaxanthin, including meso-zeaxanthin, provide important protection against the oxidizing effects of sun and artificial blue light (e.g., computer, smartphone and LED).

Brain Function

Lutein and zeaxanthin also concentrate in the brain where research indicates these carotenoids may play an important role in the neural development of infants and children.

Suggested Use

For children ages 4 and up, take 10 drops daily with a meal. For children ages 1 to 3, take 6-7 drops daily with a meal and for infants 6 to 12 months, 2-3 drops daily with food; for infants 0 to 6 months, 1 drop daily with food, or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional.

Shake well before using.
