A fairly recent 'Month of Packaging' shared by many mainstream brands leads you to believe that the tea is fresh when in reality, it could be years. 

It is imperative to understand that like other agri products, harvesting of tea is also seasonal. Each tea type & region has a specific harvest period in a year when the tea's quality is paramount. This is attributed to a natural play of climate, weather, elevation, temperature etc. We at Vahdam only source each year's prime harvest of teas.

This is when your tea is blended & packaged in the retail pack at our factory in New Delhi, India. We source our teas directly from plantations within days of harvest. In between 'Picking' & 'Packaging', all seasonal teas are vacuum-packed & placed in a temperature-controlled storage away from heat. light, moisture & oxygen. All for you to enjoy the freshness of our prime harvest teas, throughout the year.Month of Expiry 
By this time, the tea loses most of its flavor & aroma.

 Our Maharaja Breakfast is a blend of 100% Pure Assam Teas, sourced during the summer months (May-August) when black teas from this region are at the peak of their strength, flavor & quality.
