A restaurant classic! NOH Chinese Barbecue (Char Siu) seasoning mix has the distinctive red color and delicious sweet and savory taste that you've been searching for! This Chinese Barbecue (Char Siu) seasoning mix makes this classic dish a breeze to prepare in any kitchen!

Suggested Use

1 pkg. NOH Chinese Barbecue Seasoning Mix
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 pounds pork (pork butt, ribs, chicken, etc.)

Add package of seasoning mix to 1/2 cup water. Mix thoroughly. Marinate 1 1/2 pounds of meat (pork or chicken) for a minimum of 4 hours; overnight is best.

Preheat oven to 350'F. Place meat on a rack in a roasting pan and cook for 20 minutes. Turn meat over and cook for another 20 minutes; or until done.

Optimal: Dry mix can be rubbed directly onto meat without adding water.

Other Ingredients

Cane sugar, salt, powdered soy sauce (wheat, soybeans, salt, maltodextrin), 5-spice powder (ginger, aniseed, fennel, cinnamon, and cloves), onion powder, garlic powder, spices red no. 3.
